DeFi Technologies Reports Robust Growth and Strategic Expansion

DeFi Technologies, a pioneer in integrating traditional capital markets with decentralized finance, has reported significant developments through its subsidiary Valour Inc. as of October 31, 2024. Valour announced assets under management (AUM) of C$825 million, marking a 62% increase year-to-date. This rise is attributed to net inflows of C$2.1 million in October and the appreciation of asset prices. Key products such as Valour SUI SEK, Valour BTC 0, and Valour TAO SEK were pivotal in this growth, showcasing a surge in investor confidence in Valour’s digital asset exchange-traded products (ETPs).

Valour maintains a strong financial position with a cash and USDT total amounting to approximately C$12.9 million, down 36% from the prior month due to a debt payment of C$5.5 million that eliminated the company’s debt. Valour’s current loans payable are approximately C$8.3 million, reflecting a 40% reduction. The company's digital asset treasury grew with acquisitions including 208.8 BTC and 121 ETH, attaining a total value of about C$43.6 million, a 5% increase from the preceding month.

A notable strategic development in October was Valour’s decisive C$5.5 million debt payment, signaling a strengthened financial posture allowing for focus on growth and market expansion without debt constraints. DeFi Technologies also expanded its horizons by acquiring Stillman Digital, a major digital asset liquidity provider. This move aims to bolster DeFi Technologies' trading capabilities and diversify its revenue streams, enhancing its trading operations and capitalizing on emerging digital asset opportunities.

Additionally, Valour launched the first-ever Valour Bittensor (TAO) SEK ETP in the Nordics on the Spotlight Stock Market, further expanding its digital asset offerings. This product gives investors access to Bittensor's innovative machine intelligence marketplace. Valour also strategically transferred 19 ETPs to the Spotlight Stock Market in Stockholm, aiming to increase its presence and trading liquidity in the Nordic region.

Furthermore, Valour introduced the Valour Sui (SUI) ETP, showcasing their commitment to pioneering innovative blockchain technologies and reinforcing their strategic standing in the digital investment landscape. DeFi Technologies is dedicated to bridging traditional finance with decentralized finance, spearheaded by a team of experts in financial markets and digital assets. Valour, a subsidiary, offers a range of ETPs that allow investors to access digital assets securely and easily, enhancing exposure to transformative technologies.

The growth in AUM reflects growing investor interest and confidence, as DeFi Technologies and Valour continue to pursue strategic expansions and innovations.
