Corey Lewandowski Criticizes Kamala Harris: 'Unelectable' Due to Fluctuating Policies

Trump-Vance campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski has strongly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, asserting her political agenda makes her ‘unelectable.’ During an appearance on ‘MediaBuzz,’ Lewandowski asserted that Harris cannot hide from her association with the Biden administration's record. In the interview with Fox News' Howard Kurtz, Lewandowski highlighted Harris’ frequent shifts in policy positions on vital issues like border security and fracking.

He also noted her recent support for ending the taxation of tips for service industry workers, a policy similar to those advocated by Trump. Lewandowski stated that “She’s never been a leader. She should not be promoted. She’s continuously changed her position.” He suggested that Harris adopts Trump’s policy stances because she recognizes that her and Joe Biden's agenda, along with running mate Tim Walz, is so detached from the mainstream, rendering her unelectable. Harris had once proposed a fracking ban but later retracted the position and had previously opposed Trump’s strict border policies but has since toughened her stance.

Lewandowski’s critique goes further as polls reveal that some voters view Harris as more radical than Trump, labeling her as ‘too liberal or progressive.’ Kurtz questioned Lewandowski about Trump’s apparent policy shifts, including his positions on abortion and decriminalizing marijuana. Lewandowski downplayed the significance of these issues, asserting that voters are more concerned with crime, national security, and, predominantly, the economy. He reiterated the central question: “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”

Regarding pro-life issues, Lewandowski pointed out that Trump appointed three Supreme Court judges who played roles in overturning Roe v. Wade, thus returning decisions on abortion laws to the states. He emphasized that laws in states like Kansas and Ohio could differ significantly from those in states like New York or Arizona. Despite these shifts, Democrats maintain that if Trump were re-elected, he would push for a national abortion ban. The Democratic Party continues to highlight the restoration of national abortion rights as a critical issue in the 2024 race.
