Oregon State baseball is celebrating a remarkable achievement as three of their standout players – Gavin Turley, Wilson Weber, and Ethan Kleinschmit – have been recognized with All-America honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). This prestigious recognition highlights the Beavers’ exceptional talent and competitive spirit as they continue their pursuit of a fourth national championship. Gavins Turley: A Dominant Outfielder and Record-Breaking Hitter Outfielder Gavin Turley was named a first-team All-America selection, solidifying his status as one of the nation’s premier offensive players. As a junior, Turley has consistently demonstrated his power and hitting prowess, leading the Oregon State roster with an impressive 20 home runs as of June 16th. Beyond his home run total, Turley’s exceptional offensive numbers demonstrate his overall impact. He also tops the team with a remarkable 69 RBIs, showcasing his ability to drive in runs and contribute significantly to the Beavers’ scoring. This season, Turley has also achieved a monumental feat, shattering the Oregon State career record for career home runs, now standing at 53. Wilson Weber: Senior Leadership and Offensive Production Catcher Wilson Weber earned a second-team All-America nod, highlighting his consistent contributions and veteran leadership for the Oregon State Beavers. As a senior, Weber has proven to be a reliable and productive member of the team. He boasts a strong .326 batting average, demonstrating his ability to consistently make contact and get on base. With 58 RBIs, Weber has also been a significant run producer for the Beavers. Ethan Kleinschmit: Rising Star Pitcher Pitcher Ethan Kleinschmit secured a third-team All-America selection, marking his first season with the Oregon State Beavers after transferring from Linn-Benton Community College.
