A Philadelphia man, Kameron Barnes Nuble, age 34, is set to stand trial in Northampton County Court on serious homicide charges. These charges are linked to the shooting death of Legious Minder Sr., who was 46 years old, and the incident took place in the parking lot of Chubby’s Market, Easton, on October 26, 2023. The arrest of Nuble by Easton police took place in July at his home in Philadelphia.
The arrest operation received significant support from the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Task Force, as well as its tactical team, ensuring a successful apprehension. During a preliminary hearing on Friday, presided over by District Judge Robert Hawke, the prosecution brought forward compelling evidence. This evidence, consisting of surveillance video and cell phone location data, played a critical role in linking Nuble to the tragic event.
Judge Hawke concluded that there was indeed sufficient evidence provided by the prosecution to move forward with court proceedings. As a result, the charges against Nuble for criminal homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide will proceed in court. Presently, Nuble is detained in Northampton County Jail, held without the possibility of bail. This serious case continues to be a significant concern for the local community, drawing attention to the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies and the judicial system in addressing violent crime.
