Sam Brown for Senate: A New Voice for Nevada

Hello, Nevada! My name is Sam Brown, and I'm running for the United States Senate to represent our great state. After serving our country and now facing the challenges we all encounter daily, I understand what’s truly at stake for Nevada families. I’m here to talk about why it's critical that we make a change in Washington. For nearly a decade, Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen has been a fixture in Washington, and the current situation in Nevada reflects that tenure.

Our families are stretched thin, with escalating costs at the pump, grocery aisles and in housing, making it difficult to put down roots in our own communities. Senator Rosen has cast votes that align more with Washington insiders than with Nevada’s interests. She’s backed the Biden administration over 98% of the time, and opposed President Trump’s policies 100% of the time. Where is Nevada's representation in that? Instead of listening to Nevadans, she’s prioritized a D.C. agenda that has contributed to soaring inflation and a chaotic border policy.

Rather than support economic growth and security for our families, she’s left Nevadans to struggle on their own while adhering to national political narratives. Unlike my opponent, I’ve lived through the everyday challenges that so many in Nevada face: working tirelessly as prices go up while salaries remain stagnant. I am committed to fighting for the Nevada families who feel betrayed by the unfulfilled promises of career politicians.

On my campaign trail, I’ve witnessed firsthand that Nevadans want their voices heard. From the volleyball courts of UNR where young women demanded fairness in sports, to the service industry workers battling with IRS taxation on their tips, it’s evident that Senator Rosen’s decisions aren’t reflecting the pulse of Nevada. These athletes are standing for fairness, yet Senator Rosen perpetuates a 'woke' agenda that allows men in women’s sports. That's not about fairness; it’s about a Washington-centric ideology that misses the mark on Nevada values.

Economically, Nevada is burdened by the policies Senator Rosen supports. Under her leadership, essentials have become luxuries and the cost of living has surged, deterring families from enjoying financial security. Contrastingly, Nevada families are resourceful, teaching us the importance of living within our means. This is a value that should resound in Washington. If elected, I plan to bring true fiscal responsibility to the Senate, implementing President Trump’s philosophies on energy independence and lowering costs while protecting tips from IRS taxation.

Under Senator Rosen, border security has been a recurring vulnerability, risking our community safety and health with drugs and unlawful crossings. Together with President Trump, I will restore necessary border security measures and put an end to these threats. Our priority should be securing America and safeguarding Nevadans from the consequences of current negligence. I believe in advancing the 'America First' agenda which, during President Trump's tenure, led to a robust economy and secure borders—conditions that benefited all Nevadans.

Unlike the current administration’s failures that have limited America’s global leadership standing, President Trump understood the power of strength and peace. This is an ethos I will embody in the Senate. To me, representing Nevada is not just a privilege, but a commitment to bringing your needs, your dreams, and your security to the forefront in Washington. What Nevada needs is not more of the same, but a new, dedicated voice that fights for every single Nevadan, supports sensible, compassionate policies, and genuinely works to enhance the quality of life for all our citizens.

I’m Sam Brown. As a former U.S. Army Captain, Afghanistan war veteran, and Purple Heart recipient, I’m seeking your support to bring effective change to Washington, ensuring that Nevada’s future is as bright and prosperous as its people. I respectfully ask for your vote. Let’s chart a new course for Nevada together.
