Verkada, a leader in cloud-based physical security, has announced the expansion of its Integrations Program by adding six new technology partners: Appriss Retail, Auror, Axon Evidence, CompScience, Extreme Networks, and RedBag. This extended network of partnerships aims to bolster the versatility and functionality of Verkada’s platform across multiple sectors including retail, law enforcement, manufacturing, and education. Brandon Davito, Senior Vice President of Product and Operations, highlighted that these integrations simplify the process for Verkada's customers, enabling them to leverage Verkada's robust platform more effectively. By collaborating with tech partners possessing specialized expertise in various verticals, Verkada is committed to delivering increased value to its over 28,000 global customers, enabling them to use the platform in more sophisticated and varied applications.
The inclusion of Appriss Retail allows retail customers to pair Verkada cameras with Appriss’s operational analytics effortlessly, helping in swift detection and analysis of suspicious transactions. Similarly, collaboration with Auror enhances retail crime intelligence by allowing customers to export video footage from Verkada Command directly into Auror, which aids in tracking repeat offenders and organized retail crime more efficiently. Integration with Axon Evidence streamlines the video evidence management process for law enforcement by enabling seamless export of video archives into Axon’s secure cloud-based platform, which aids in secure sharing and compliance with legal requirements.
CompScience partnership brings safety analytics into play, leveraging high-quality video from Verkada cameras to monitor and enhance workplace safety. This integration is particularly beneficial in high-risk work environments, helping in identifying and mitigating potential hazards, thus improving operational efficiency and security. Through Extreme Networks, customers can efficiently manage and provision Verkada cameras within a secure network infrastructure using zero-touch setup and automated policy enforcement. Finally, the partnership with RedBag facilitates enhanced situational awareness during emergencies by integrating Verkada devices with RedBag’s dashboard for seamless communication between classrooms and emergency responders.
These new partners join an existing lineup of 12 other technology partners including Fūsus, HiveWatch, SingleWire Software, and Sureview, further expanding the capabilities and applications of Verkada’s platform in diverse environments. With its commitment to simplicity and integration, Verkada continues to support organizations in achieving superior building security through its six product lines: video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace management, and intercom systems.
